Parent-To-Parent advocates for treatment facilities and parity, conducts Support Group Meetings for parents, provides community education, and offers referrals to rehabs based on daily knowledge of program appropriateness, bed availability and funding. Quite often, a financial obstacle might prevent a client from entering treatment. Through the Parent-to-Parent Fund, emergency financial assistance is available if needed. There are also many other issues that the recovering addict faces: Employment, medical needs, housing... just to name a few.
Your Donation... large or small... could be just what is needed to help a struggling individual who otherwise might not be able to receive treatment for his or her addiction. There are many barriers that stand in the way. We at Parent-To-Parent want to take those barriers down!
